Hello, I am unsure if this will be printed and have had a little difficulty even getting this far (my own technoincompetence). Before I write anything else, or attach a file I will see if I have managed to achieve anything.

 

Well, it appears I have! Thank you all for a great conference. I was sorry I missed the `Adventure' but, as I explained to Norman, I was wearing new boots and had blisters so bad I could not walk. Teacher that I am though, I tried to learn something from this: I realised that because I had worn my old pair for 5 years, I had forgotten that they almost certainly caused me as much pain when I first wore them. `New' can often be a synonym for `painful', something that is probably helpful to remind ourselves of us teachers, and indeed as learners.

 

I am hoping to be able to add a version of my sessions, once I can figure out how to do this.

 

I'm just back from another conference: `Renewals', at Royal Holloway. Very interesting to see what a subject specific discipline are doing. I tried to upload an article I published on stand-up comedy and teaching in an American journal but was informed there was a server error. I'll try again tomorrow; now I have to get ready for my regular Sunday night in our comedy club in Richmond.

    jo tait:Well done, Kevin - that isn't patronising, because I know it's a huge hurdle to get anything up in the first instance and then connect it. If you need someone to sit beside you while you upload stuff, Norman and I are not experts but can at least talk in your ear and offer reassurance if you phone us: 01483 684903 (me) and 01483 682040 (Norman). When you are in edit mode, you can just add an attachment - a little icon to the far right of the toolbar, top of your page.
